Call for proposals: 2009/10 - 2010/11

The following documents are in line with the two focus areas found in Serau: Pacific Provider and Workforce Development Fund Programme of Action 2009/10 – 2011/12.

Important update (1/12/2009)

The Ministry of Health is re-advertising the tender “Support Pacific Health Professional Organisations” as no valid proposals were received.

Compliance with the due date and requirements must be strictly adhered.

Please note that in order to be eligible to access this funding, you must:

be an existing Pacific health service provider (ie. a provider that is owned and governed by Pacific and provides services primarily but not exclusively for Pacific peoples
hold a health service contract (within the last 18 months)
be a legal entity.

Please be advised that the closing time for ALL RFPs for "Focus two: Strengthen Pacific providers to deliver quality health services - sustainable Pacific providers" has changed from 5pm on Friday 27 November 2009 to 2pm on Friday 27 November 2009.
Please ensure that your Provider number is supplied with your proposal OR completed Appendix 1 Form (including a copy of a Bank Verified Deposit Slip or Bank Verified Bank Account) for those without a Provider number. Failure to supply a provider number (or a completed Appendix 1) will cause payment delays for successful proposals.

* In the case of a newly established Pacific Primary Health Organisation reflecting a consolidation of existing Pacific PHOs, the requirement to have a health service contract (within the last 18 months) shall include health service contracts that can be directly associated with any of the members of the new entity and which are likely to be transferred over to the new entity. Evidence to support this will be required.
